Winston & I

Hello! Welcome to my blog! My name is Ali and this blog is all about one little dog who miraculously changed my world. His name is Winston.

Winston came into my life on November 15, 2011 when I found a tiny Maltese lying in the middle of the road after just being hit by a car. I took him to the local animal hospital where they fixed him up, and well, the rest is history.

Now, Winston lives with me in Philadelphia where I attend college at Drexel University. He is a healthy and active dog who loves taking on adventures. Considering he is only five pounds, most people would think that Winston has limitations. Well those people would be wrong. Winston has gone hiking in the woods, has been jogging through Fairmount Park, and regularly enjoys trips in and around the city.

Before Winston came into my life, I never truly understood the bond that is shared between a dog and their human. Now, I wish to share my experiences with the rest of the world. Also, I wish to enlighten those about the benefits and challenges of owning a dog. Especially if you are a college student living in a small apartment like I am.
